Precipitated barium sulfate is produced by domestic advanced chemical precipitation process, with superior physical properties, less mechanical impurities, and very uniform fineness. It is white powder without qualitative quality. Non-toxic, insoluble in water, soluble in fuming sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in boiling hydrochloric acid, chemical stability, and carbon co-thermal reduction to barium sulfate. In the air in contact with hydrogen sulfide or toxic gas does not change color. Is the domestic similar products of higher quality. It absorbs X-rays and gives the material high density and surface finish.
